Scott Carter-Brace & Liam Mason named as the club's new First Team Management Team

Following a highly competitive recruitment process, Scott and Liam stood out as the outstanding candidates. Their enthusiasm for the opportunity, extensive network within the local non-league game, relentless work ethic and unwavering determination to drive standards forward made them the clear choice to lead the next chapter at Bagshot FC.

Equally important was the wealth of experience they bring beyond the touchline.
Having successfully established and managed a football club from the ground up, they possess a genuine understanding of every aspect involved in building a successful environment.

From recruitment and player development to creating the right culture and day-to-day operations, their hands-on experience provides a strong foundation for the future of the club.
Scott joins Bagshot as First Team Manager with an excellent playing pedigree across the non-league pyramid. During his career, he represented Bracknell Town, Camberley Town, Chertsey Town, Sandhurst Town and AFC Uckfield, competing across Steps 3, 4 and 5.

After stepping away from the game for family reasons, Scott returned to football by coaching at Bracknell Town and EPC Youth. That reignited his passion for management, leading him to build AFC Dukes from its inception, guiding the club at 'Step 7' and helping establish a strong identity both on and off the pitch.

Alongside Scott, Liam Mason arrives in the Assistant Manager's role with an equally impressive coaching background. Having previously coached at Berks County across Steps 5 and 6, Liam also continues to work within the youth section at Bracknell Town.
He partnered Scott in managing AFC Dukes last season and brings significant expertise in strength and conditioning through his work in boxing, youth sport and non-league football.
His knowledge of athletic development and high-performance environments will be a valuable asset to the squad.

Together, Scott and Liam offer a blend of football knowledge, leadership, professionalism and ambition that aligns perfectly with the new direction of Bagshot FC.
Their shared vision, attention to detail and commitment to creating a positive, hard-working culture made a lasting impression throughout the recruitment process, and everyone at the club is excited to see that vision brought to life.

Speaking of the appointment, Chairman, Stuart Morgan said:
We’re absolutely delighted that Scott and Liam applied for the role. I genuinely believe this is the perfect fit for both parties at this particular moment in time and their hard-working mentality is something I value above almost every other attribute.

Naturally, all eyes will be on how the squad is assembled and the results that follow, but they will have the full backing of everyone at Bagshot FC.
From my point of view, we shall be setting a certain standard for everyone to aspire to and reach; we’ll support them every step of the way, until that level is met.

I would like to place on record that we will continue to move the club forward together, as one collective and I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome both Scott and Liam to Bagshot FC, and we’re all looking forward to an exciting new chapter.
